Our Senior Engineer
Larry Brand is a Senior Engineer in Air, Land and Water Engineering's Columbia, Maryland office. He has a Masters in Business Administration from The Johns Hopkins University. His Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Environmental Engineering is from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. He is a licensed and registered Professional Engineer in Maryland and in the District of Columbia.
Mr. Brand's duties include performing water and wastewater projects, Phase I, II and III environmental assessments, hazardous waste remediation, indoor air quality investigations, underground storage tank removal and replacement projects, and industrial hygiene projects including asbestos and lead projects. He is the health and safety officer at ALWE.
Mr. Brand is also experienced in managing remediation design projects including architectural, mechanical, and electrical subcontractor oversight. He is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association. He has also provided expert witness testimony for legal proceedings, including many lead paint cases and, a case involving soil gas testing and analysis and a few involving mold testing and remediation.
